Football FieldNot long after the Homecoming game against Amherst on Nov. 9, Williams began a $22 million project to renovate and re-invent the Weston Field Athletic Complex in time for the start of the fall 2014 season. The renovation will provide much-needed new facilities for participants in varsity field hockey, football, lacrosse and track and field, as well as in club, intramural and recreational sports. Emphasis is being placed on green design and the environmental stewardship of the surrounding area. In the months since the project was announced, current and former athletes as well as spectators have been flocking to Weston to say goodbye and share their memories.
